This Sunday, September 16, begins the journey of 100 Days to Christmas! To get things rolling, of course you will want to check in to 100DaystoChristmas.com to see what exciting things are happening on that first day. But that evening, as you start thinking about the week ahead, plan to join us on 100 Days to Christmas’ Facebook page to join in our first ever Facebook party!
This is how a Facebook party works:
1) At 9 pm EST, you visit the 100 Days to Christmas Facebook page (be sure to “Like” us). Announce that you’ve joined the party. We’d love to know where you are from and if this is your first (or second, third, or fourth) time participating in the 100 Days to Christmas.
2) I’ll be leading some conversations about the holiday season. It will be a time for meeting others who have similar interests. brainstorming together, and learning a few new things. Feel free to chime in to as many conversations as you’d like.
3) Every 10 minutes there will be a new giveaway announced for you to enter, right then and there. Some of the prizes will be 100 Days to Christmas 2012 eBooks, memberships to ListPlanIt.com, an Amazon gift card to kick off your holiday shopping, and more!
4) The party will end at 10 pm EST so we can all get a good night’s rest for Day 99!
Easy! I hope you will join us. Leave a comment below if you plan to visit the Party.

Hi everyone !! Sharon here from Swansea in South Wales, U.K. I would REALLY like to be around that time (which I think is 5am over here when its 9pm with you), but I dont think I’ll be able to stay up at that time as I have work, but I will set my alarm clock to TRY to awake me 90 minutes earlier instead. Fingers crossed !!
I’m in the UK. We are on British Summer Time or Greenwich Mean Time, not EST. What time should I go on Facebook to join the party?
Yikes, Jo. You are 5 hours ahead of us here on the east coast, so 9 pm EST would be 2 am for you. I may have to think about how our 100 Days to Christmas enthusiasts in other parts of the world can party too. Thank you for speaking up. I’ll let you know what I can come up with shortly.
Hi, Sharon! I love your enthusiasm!! You are 5 hours ahead of us here on the east coast, so 9 pm EST would be 2 am for you. I may have to think about how our 100 Days to Christmas enthusiasts in other parts of the world can party too. Thank you for speaking up. I’ll let you know what I can come up with shortly.
I wish I could, but my son has football game at 7:30 that night…yes on a Sunday. Don’t even get me started. So have fun without me!
I’m going to try to make it…thanks for doing an FB party instead of Twitter because I simply do NOT understand how to use Twitter! So confusing for this old broad (all my 33 years)!
I plan o coming to the party!
So excited, but I just found out about your book and lists… I hope I’m not too late to get ready, as Sept 16 is tomorrow!
Welcome! You are just in time. See you tomorrow!!
I will be there with bells on!
Hopefully I will be able to join the conversation!
I”m coming to the party… after I put the kids to bed!
I am making plans to be there. Just hope I can make it.
Yay! I plan on coming to the party!!!
I’m waiting patiently!
