Happy Hanukkah!

14Today, after sunset, begins the first day of the 8-day celebration of Hanukkah. It “. . .commemorates the victory of the Maccabees, a Jewish rebel army, over the Syrians in 165 B.C.E., as well as the subsequent rededication of the holy Temple in Jerusalem. Jews around the world celebrate with eight nights of merriment. Traditions include lighting the menorah, exchanging gifts and enjoying treats cooked in oil.”

  • Jennifer,
My freinds on Facebook and Twitter have been reminded they can still have some tips and recipes for a stress free holiday. I would love to use your Planner ePlanner.

  • Oh man! I wish I had been able to look at this sooner. We went to a Passover Seder once before we had children and it was an incredible experience. I would love to teach my children about Hanukkah. I’m just going to be a day late.
