Home for the Holidays

53Many, many people will be traveling either for Thanksgiving or Christmas. This is no small undertaking, especially if you have children in tow.

Today’s Countdown to Christmas Challenge is to take a look at your cale100countdownndars, take note of the days that would be best for your schedules to travel on, and get serious about making the final preparations: purchase tickets, map out routes, make a packing list*, reserve a car or a hotel. Where will you be traveling for the holidays?

Fortunately we do not travel during the holidays as all of our family is local. But it really is quite the undertaking and you need tons of organizing to ensure all goes smooth so you can still enjoy the holidays! I’m sure having a good sense of humor helps a ton!

  • Fortunately my in-laws are local, so we only have to travel to see MY family. I guess it is time to decide WHEN we are gong to do that.

  • Some time we travel for Christmas. This Christmas we don’t sure what we will do yet.

  • I just wanted to thank you for the continued inspiration…one of my Saturday Workshops was catching up with the binder and it reminded me to look at the gifts list…I always get Lenox snowflakes for my godchildren. The Bed Bath & Beyond coupon came today and it was on my mind, so I called–they had the snowflakes in, just not on display yet…they pulled four for me (for them) and I got them all at $20 with $5 off coupons, which will cover shipping for the two I need to mail. Huge relief to have those found and ready to go by Nov. 2…a real record for me. (Now the trick is to not be mailing them on Dec. 21!) Many thanks….
