What would Halloween be without the Great Pumpkin? The answer is unfathomable. For many people, it was a part of childhood memories of fall and now it can mean just as much to your children during the month of October.
The Countdown to Christmas Challenge for today is to get your hands on a copy of “It the Great Pumpkin
, Charlie Brown!” for your Friday Family Flick. Check to see if it airs on TV tonight, check it out at your library, look around on line for a way to instantly download it. It doesn’t last very long, but you’ll embark on a trip down memory lane as you watch it again.

One of my favorite cartoons, ever! I close second to Charlie Brown Christmas, and one of the most oft heard lines around the house is, “I got a rock.”

Can’t remember if the kids have ever seen this. I’m going to try and find it for tonight! It’s raining here again! So it will be a nice rainy day show!
This is one of my favorite memories as a child. We have continued with this tradition for our son. He’s 14 this year, wonder if he’ll still want to watch it, I sure hope so, because I want to!
my sisters have young children and the kids wanted to carve a pumpkin earlier this month .They held off until today because otherwise it would have shriveled up too much.
My kids have never seen this one, I grew up on it, I better go look for it. Dont want them missing out hunh?
