I love the little poem. I tend to use a similar philosophy when shopping and plan in advance so that I can make rational decision and cost effective ones.

I love the little poem! Something they need … now I have an answer for my kids wanting to know why they always get a fresh pack of underwear under the tree every Christmas!
I would love to start my Christmas shopping this early, but we are total Black Friday bargain hunters. I am, however, going to start making my list and checking it twice!

I love your site!!! I’ve been trying to start Christmas a little early this year. This list would definitely be helpful!
What a great poem – one that I have already copied (but hope you won’t mind
– into the front cover of my pocket shopping list! I shall definitely be chanting it to us as my mantra when deliberating between gift possibilties this Christmas – Thank you so much!
Since the grandparents tend to go overboard on their grandson’s gifts, we usually only buy our son 2-3 things. He gets a big gift “from Santa”. In the past big gifts have been a Big Wheel (2 yrs ago) and a guitar (last year). Then he gets 1-2 smaller gifts from Mom and Dad.
It certainly helps with the after Christmas clutter if he isn’t overwhelmed on Christmas morning.

Why not tap into social shoppings sites and add products and create Christmas lists – http://www.tribesmart.com
Thanks
Putting some rationality and organization around gift-giving is one of my goals this year. This is a great time to start too!

These tips have been SO encouraging to me. Though illness prevents me from attending to quite a bit of your ‘countdown items’ it is precisely BECAUSE of the illness that I have appreciated the organized, step-by-step approach as it is keeping me less stressed….

Looking for a great gift or stocking stuffer for friends and family. Nothing goes better with a great bottle of wine than a book
The new fantasy novel, “Gateway to DreamWorld,” was released last month and has been receiving rave reviews.
During the cold months ahead, they will curl up in a warm cabin and enter a fantasy world filled with excitement and suspense.
The book is listed on Amazon.com, Barnes&Nobles.com, and Powell’s Books.com

That poem of yours stuck with me from last year – I love it and it’s a great guideline for gift giving.
