Wrapping gifts to set under the tree is, for most people, a part of the Christmas tradition. A wrapped gift is a mystery. Children go to sleep dreaming of what they might find inside.
Today’s Countdown to Christmas Challenge is to inventory your holiday gift w
rap and supplies. Maybe you stocked up after last Christmas. Maybe your current stock is depleted after last year. Check out List Mama Blog for a List of Necessities to Keep in your Gift Wrap Station.

I love gift wrap! My mother-in-law stopped buying me gift cards because I would spend them at after-Christmas sales getting the steeply discounted paper and doo-dads. I love to wrap presents, though! I wrap mine, my family’s and some of my friends’ presents when they get bogged down. It’s just fun for me to create!
So, I have my daily comment and I’ve also been subscribed to the site via the Feed thingy on my internet explorer because I’m too internet-challenged to figure out any other feeds.
I love gift wrap! It was fun to look at it again. I had forgotten what I picked up at end of the season sales. Great tip!
My husband thinks I have a problem with obtaining too much gift wrap and accoutrement. But really, I can stop any time.

I always pick up wrapping materials on clearance after Christmas, so I’m well stocked there with the exception of Scotch tape. I always need more of that when the time rolls around.
LOVE the holiday plaque and would love to win it! So festive!

For me the wrapping part of the gift, the presentation says you are worth the time to make the whole experience of this gift special. I used a lot of wired ribbon and a bow maker for my gifts. I use more of a cool temp glue gun than tape. I love to make the bows and then put pine cones or small christmas ornaments as the center of the bow. I even have an envelope template and I buy Christmas or winter themed scrape book paper and cut out envelopes and decorate for gift cards
Good idea!

I always get a couple new rolls or wrapping paper from Costco which is double sided. I try to do a theme with the colors or scheme.

Yeah! Two days in a row I’m ahead without even trying! About 3 or 4 weeks ago we had a water issue in our basement and I had to go through everything! So not fun. But one of the things I sorted through was my Christmas wrapping paper that never go put up into the attic from last year! So I went through it and put it away. I don’t usually start wrapping until November…so I wanted it out of my hair for a month or so. So this challange is already done for me! Yeah!
Oh yeah…and I finished my Christmas cards the other day and they are already on their way to me! Yeah! I love being on top of things!

This post is meant for me! I always have great plans for getting our gifts wrapped early and beautifully… and somehow it always comes down to Christmas Eve at bedtime. Not this year!
